My mom always did every holiday up big. I loved Valentine's Day. Everything was done in the shape of hearts and there were lots of fun goodies for us. I always dreamt I would make Valentine's Day perfect for my children, too. Well, that's a little harder for me to accomplish than I thought. Does anyone else feel like holidays and birthdays just sneak up on you?? I have grand plans but then when the time gets here, I totally drop the ball. We spent our morning with Robby at MDO and Charlie and I ran errands.

I thought we would have breakfast for dinner. I usually make a heart shaped pizza but decided to do something different this year. Heart shaped bacon...

We ended the evening watching Skyfall and relaxing. Even though it wasn't a fancy dinner out or a night on the town, I couldn't have imagined a better way to spend Valentine's Day - surrounded by the boys I love!
