8th day (we got through the first week apart!)

Today, our main project was to put together Robby's nursery.  We are only missing a few pieces that the movers have.  I love the way it looks!
He was watching us and making sure we were doing it right!
His sweet little clothes!
The glider will be going in that corner
Our changing table will go there
So he can see his daddy's face every day!
I thought this was precious.  I was taking these pictures in the dark after I had put him down for the night. I decided to just sneak a picture of him, also.  He was watching his mobile.  I love how his mouth is open while he's watching it!

Seven

Today we got into the apartment and unloaded/unpacked the things we brought. The movers should be here Thursday with everything else!
My dad and I put together Robby's crib!  I absolutely love it!

Day 6

Well, I didn't post yesterday because I was able to skype with Tim, so I could tell him personally what we did and he got to see us!  I spent the day yesterday mopping and cleaning baseboards, so nothing fun!  Then my parents arrived around 5 and we finished organizing and packing everything to make the move down to Schertz today.  This morning, we got up, loaded everything, got on the road, and arrived here at about 9:00pm.  Robby did pretty well on this trip, but we had to stop an extra time for him to eat than we did on our first trip down.  But that's ok.  We made it.  We are exhausted and I only got one picture today!

Tomorrow I get to see our new apartment and move in everything that we brought with us.  I found out Friday from the movers that our things won't be delivered until Thursday.  We were told they could be delivered Tuesday.  So that kind of throws a kink in things, but it's fine.  It will all work out!

4th day

Today was another long, tiring day.  The movers loaded everything up and will deliver it next week to the apartment.  Some sweet friends brought lunch and their babies over to my empty house.  We spread out blankets and sat on the floor to eat and have a little playdate.  Then I strapped Robby into the Baby Bjorn and got to work cleaning the house.  I didn't get everything done but my parents will be here tomorrow to help me finish up.  After that, I went to the hospital to see Josh, Catie, and Gus.  It was incredibly hard to say goodbye to them.  They are such wonderful friends and it just stinks that we have to leave right as we both enter this new stage of our lives.  I left the hospital with tears streaming down my face.  A friend invited me over for dinner with her husband and new little boy.  It was so sweet of them to think of me.  She sent me away with diapers and food so I wouldn't have to worry about anything tonight and could just relax.  I didn't take a ton of pictures today, but here are the ones I took.
This morning while I was getting ready, I put him on his tummy and he just fell back to sleep!
Robby and Gus
8 weeks ago today, this woman coached me through bringing this little guy into the world!
I'm so glad I ran into her at the hospital!  Her name is Anissa and she was AMAZING!
Mamas!
Sweet sleepy boy!

Number 3

Today my day consisted of sitting, holding Robby and watching the movers pack.  My evening consisted of loving on sweet baby Gus.  Here are pictures from the day:
(I'm sorry, I don't know how to rotate the pictures and I'm too tired right now to try to figure it out.  I will try to fix them tomorrow)
I couldn't get today's video to upload so instead, here are just some pictures of our sweet boy!
